A New Entrant in Tampere’s Hotel Market – Uumen Hotels Aims to Become the City’s Most Affordable Hotel Accommodation with Its Small-Room Concept
The renovation work for the first hotel in historic Finlayson factory area will start in the beginning of October. The hotel operator, Uumen Hotels, is introducing a new accommodation concept to Finland, focusing around compact and practical small-rooms. The establishment at Finlaysoninkatu 5 will feature a total of 99 rooms, including single, double, and four person rooms. The most affordable single room can be booked for as little as 39 euros. In addition to solo travelers, the hotel’s primary target groups include groups of friends, couples, families, and teams such as sports groups or students.
