Breakfast

The city’s most delicious breakfast in a charming atmosphere

The much-loved Boulangerie Marco serves a delicious breakfast to hotel guests every day of the year. The tailored breakfast menus for Uumen guests feature not only the bakery’s famous croissants but also homemade specialty treats from Boulangerie Marco!

Breakfast is served from 07:00 to 11:00 in the hotel lounge and you can book it through our reservation system when making a room reservation, or when checking in to our hotel.

Bathrooms & toilets

Uumen’s stylish bathroom facilities are shared and well designed to refresh you for the start of a new day or prepare for bedtime.

Our shower spaces can be locked to ensure the user’s privacy. The toilets are located throughout the hotel near to the rooms, so you’ll always find a restroom nearby.

You can find the bathrooms on the Näsijärvi lakeside of our hotel. Bathrooms for guests with reduced mobility are located near to the lounge on the first floor.

Lounge Areas

We also have two fantastic lounge areas. The first-floor lounge is located near the entrance and serves as our hotel’s meeting place. You can sense the atmosphere of the Finlayson area, meet new people, or kick off your evening in our comfy living room. The check-in points and self-service kiosks are located in the lounge next to the reception desk. The kiosks are available around the clock, so snacks, beverages, and toothbrushes are always within reach.

The fifth-floor lounge, on the other hand, is designed as a place to relax, primarily for calming down and unwinding. Upstairs, you can enjoy a serene atmosphere, play billiards, or breathe fresh air on the rooftop terrace. Warm tea and a blanket, a good book, and a beautiful view of Lake Näsijärvi on the horizon? 😍

Self-Service Kiosks

Snacks, sodas, frisbees, slippers, toothbrushes, magazines, or sketchbooks – we got you covered!

Our self-service kiosks serve both in the hotel lobby and the fifth-floor lounge. We offer a wide range of products from drinks and food to everyday items. If you’re interested in playing in the Finlayson park area, you can also rent equipment directly from our reception. Handy and sustainable!

Both at the reception and in the self-service kiosks, purchases can be paid for with a payment card or directly with your Uumen wristband.

Gym

Our hotel’s gym partner is Fitness24Seven | Tampere Keskusta Group located on the adjacent street, Satakunnankatu (300 m from our main entrance). The versatile gym features modern strength training equipment, a free weight area, a stretching area and a separate gym for women. The deal for Uumen Hotels customers is straightforward: when you stay with us, you can work out next door for 7€ / one-time ticket.

You can book a gym visit directly when booking your hotel accommodation or later during your stay.

Work and Meeting Spaces

When you need work or meeting spaces, our neighbour, Finlayson Meetings, is a great solution. Just 100 meters from our entrance, you’ll find a wide range of workspaces for yourself or your group. As a guest at Uumen, you’ll always enjoy a suitable price.

Tampere’s second Siipiweikot restaurant, Siipiweikot Tampella, opened in the spring of 2019 when the Aleksanterinkatu restaurant could no longer meet the growing demand for wings from Tampere residents.
