  • What does micro room accommodation mean?

    Micro room accommodation means staying in a room designed to be as space-efficient and functional as possible, while still providing everything needed for a comfortable stay. Although the space is compact, it includes all the essentials. Explore our rooms. 

  • Do you offer breakfast?

    Our breakfast partner is the celebrated and loved Boulangerie Marco, whose Uumen Breakfast options can be purchased while booking your room as well as through the Guest portal during your stay. Explore our breakfast offerings. 

  • Can I store luggage at the hotel?

    You can store your luggage in our locked luggage room on your arrival day before check-in and on your departure day after check-out. The facilities are monitored by recorded surveillance cameras.

  • How can I use the gym?

    We collaborate with the Fitness24Seven gym on Satakunnankatu (300 m from our main entrance). You can book a discounted single visit directly through the Guest portal. Instructions for gym entry can be found in the gym reservation confirmation. 

  • Are there parking spaces and electric vehicle charging stations at your hotel?

    Due to our hotel’s central location, there is plenty of parking available nearby. In addition to street-side parking, paid parking services are offered at Polttimon parkki (parking lot Polttimon parkki) and at the P-Plevna parking garage, both located in close proximity to the hotel. Several other parking garages are also available in the area. P-Plevna and P-Näsinkulma also offer electric vehicle charging stations (Type 2 22kW).

BOOKING 

  • How do I book a room?

    The easiest way to book your stay at Uumen Hotels is to make a reservation through our website. We guarantee the best possible price on our own site, which means that you have arrived at exactly the right place. Other options for making a reservation include calling our customer service or using Online Travel Agency services like booking.com. While booking your room, you can also purchase additional services such as breakfast or gym access. Through the reservation confirmation in your email, you can log into the Guest portal, where you can, for example, extend your stay without needing to contact customer service. 

  • Can I choose between a room on the upper or lower floor?

    Our reservation system automatically assigns the room, but by letting us know your preferences in advance, we can almost always arrange the option you desire. 

CHECK-IN / CHECK-OUT

  • How does check-in and check-out work?

    Check-in and check-out is easy and flexible with us. You can do it effortlessly using your mobile device or at the hotel’s self-service kiosks. This means you can arrive and depart according to your own schedule within the check-in times, without having to wait in line. Our staff is on-site to welcome you and assist you if needed. 

  • When does check-in time start?

    Check-in time begins at 3:00 PM. After 3:00 PM, you can arrive at any time according to your own schedule. If you would like an earlier check-in time, please contact our customer service.

  • When does check-out time end?

    Check-out time ends at 12:00 PM. The room is available to you until 12:00 PM on your departure day. If you would like a later check-out time, please contact our customer service.

ACCESS AND SERVICES 

  • How do I access the hotel?

    You can move around the hotel seamlessly using a wristband as a room key. It conveniently stays on your wrist and grants you access to all the necessary facilities during your stay. 

  • What payment options are available at the self-service kiosks and reception?

    At our hotel, we accept all major credit and debit cards, as well as Apple Pay and Google Pay. Additionally, you can use the wristband you receive at check-in as a payment method. Purchases made with the wristband will be charged on your room bill, which will be settled at check-out.

ACCOMMODATION 

  • Can more than one person stay in a room?

    Our smallrooms are designed to accommodate a maximum of one (Single), two (Double), or four (Cabin) guests, depending on the room type. 

  • Can I stay with a pet?

    For allergy reasons, we unfortunately cannot accommodate pets in our hotel.

  • Where can I find the bathroom and toilet facilities?

    General bathroom and shower facilities (separate areas for men and women) can be found on the Näsijärvi lake side of our hotel, while facilities for guests with reduced mobility are located near the lounge on the first floor.

    The toilets are located throughout the hotel near to the rooms, so you’ll always find a restroom nearby. 

  • How to use the bathroom facilities?

    Uumen’s stylish bathroom facilities are well designed to refresh you for the start of a new day or prepare for bedtime. All the shower spaces can be locked to ensure the user’s privacy.

  • What should I do if I need assistance during my stay?

    f you need assistance, we are here for you. Our staff is present to help and guide you from check-in time until late in the evening. You can also reach us by phone or through the Guest portal. In case of emergency, please call the general emergency number 112.
